Last night one of the senior pediatric residents in the ER glued a little girl’s eye shut with dermabond (Skin glue). In one week this resident starts fellowship in… Wait for it… Pediatric emergency medicine.
I was NOT the attending in the ER last night. I was called by that attending and informed of the incident.
